Sebastián Pinzón-Silva is a Colombian nonfiction filmmaker and photographer. He‘s worked in all areas of documentary production from shooting and editing a short film for National Geographic to assistant editing MINDING THE GAP. His directorial work has screened at various festivals including Locarno, True/False, Cartagena, SFFILM, Camden, Toulouse, and New Orleans, among others. Sebastián is a Sundance Documentary Fellow, a Kartemquin DVID fellow, and one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film. He holds a degree in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design and a master’s degree in Documentary Media from Northwestern University.
